What we do

Eight fields of our work

Section 2 (3) of our statutes lists the measures ALED works with. The numbering follows the wording of the statutes, not a ranking.

  1. Lebanese Day in Germany

    Designing, organising, running and developing the annual nationwide format for encounter, education and networking.

  2. Meetings in all federal states

    Events for official occasions and holidays in Germany and Lebanon, and for other social occasions.

  3. Talks, workshops, exhibitions

    Formats on German-Lebanese relations promoting understanding between peoples and cultural education.

  4. Science and education

    Mentoring, study and career orientation, information events and formats for academic exchange.

  5. Youth and sport

    Supporting youth and sports projects in line with our purposes.

  6. Cooperation with institutions

    Working with universities, municipalities, cultural institutions and other bodies.

  7. Nationwide network

    Building and maintaining a network of associations, initiatives and organisations of the Lebanese community.

  8. Humanitarian measures

    Organising and supporting humanitarian work in Germany and Lebanon, especially for disaster victims and people in need.
